Program

This is a very short brief of what we planned for our workshop. The dynamics will mix speeches and collective discussions in breakout groups.

All the activites aim to provide subisdies for the products intended to be generated by the end of the workshop

  1. Set the grounds for the creation of the BioRestNet: a network of biocultural restoration

  2. Write the draft of a perspective paper on Biocultural approaches to conservation and restoration


3rd June (only international participants)

  • Most of you might be travelling to Kenya

4th June

Arrival in the Hotel (only international participants)

  • We won’t be able to arrange pick-ups but Uber and Taxi works fine in Kenya or you can get in contact with Panari Hotel and arrange a shuttle service for you (recommended).

  • We also suggest to buy a SIM Card from Safaricom at the Nairobi airport if you want to stay connected. Kenya has good coverage even in the Savannah.

5th June

  • 9 am: meeting at The Panari Hotel to transfer to Narok by coach
  • 1pm - 2pm: lunch at Narok
  • 2pm: Narok to Mulot by coach
  • 3 pm: transfer Multo to Aitong in 4x4 vehicles
  • Check-in in the Enaitoti Hotel
